Our Story
Our Story
On Monday, January 15, 2024, Dr. Tiffany Bowden told the LinkedIn community that a black woman took her life because she was treated poorly by her employer. That triggered pain inside my body, but pain without action is worthless. From that experience, THECOLLECTIVE was born.
THE COLLECTIVE will create books and multimodal projects that address the injustices in the world. As a collective group, each project will detail the issues, while maintaining the brand and integrity of it's members. TMSVG spearheads each project, and our members contribute to the project, plus receive compensation for all published work.
As the world turns, THE COLLECTIVE will rise to meet the world.
Our first project -- the B project -- focuses on corporate work experiences for black men and women.

The B Project
The B Project was born in January 15, 2024 after a notice of Dr. Antoinette Candia-Bailey dying by suicide at the hands of unfair treatment by Lincoln University's president. Our COLLECTIVE does not assume a position on this travesty. Our COLLECTIVE aims to highlight Dr. Candia-Bailey's death to bring life to the injustices that black men and women face in the corporate arena. Our goal is NOT to dismantle corporations or disway corporations from recruiting, hiring and promoting black Americans.
Our goal is to support black Americans by acknowledging the difficulties and supporting development of the agility necessary to sustain positive, healthy corporate work relationships.

MULTIMODAL PRODUCTIONS
Most people are excited about writing a story, and there is great potential in a fully print production. In addition, let's consider creating a virtual experience for our learners.
What if we partnered with a graphic designer to create a virtual world to intensify your written experiences?
Multimodal productions have more reach in a shorter amount of time. We can partner our multimodal production with your print book for increased impact.
PUBLICATIONS
Our project is never complete until we release it to the world. There are many ways to publish that are free, like this site, so publication does not have to cost a lot of money.
The publication decision is based on reach. If our COLLECTIVE has enough followers to drive people to our free site, then, we can complete a completely free product using free technology.
We can also select a publishing house to work with. As a COLLECTIVE, we will discuss this option privately.
All COLLECTIVE members determine publication plans as a part of the book project.
