Our world is shaped by how people learn, communicate, and make meaning. Literacy plays a central role in that process.

TMS Visionary Group is a literacy-centered organization grounded in rhetoric and composition. We work with individuals, educators, and institutions to support literacy across multiple domains, including learning literacy, print and digital literacy, financial literacy, and living literacy.

Through teaching, consulting, and collective work, we help people:

• strengthen learning cultures in schools, organizations, and communities

• develop strong print and digital literacy for clear communication and authorship

• build financial understanding and confidence

• support living literacy, including housing stability, life support, and access to technology (through initiatives such as Duality and BRAINS)

At the core of our work is a belief from literacy studies: literacy shapes how people participate in the world and how communities are formed. 

By supporting literacy in its many forms, we contribute to more intentional learning, clearer communication, and more informed participation—one person, one classroom, and one collective at a time.

Learning literacy goes beyond information delivery. It focuses on how people make meaning, transfer knowledge, and apply learning across contexts. Through Evelyn & Company, the real estate and housing subsidiary of TMS Visionary Group, we support housing and real estate literacy by helping individuals and families understand pathways to safe and stable living. 

Through our nonprofit initiatives Duality and BRAINS, we provide life and technology support that helps people navigate transitions and remain connected to essential resources.
